Fifa15 Data1 Bin

Fifa15 Data1 Bin 15/09/2015 by Artur Benko The FIFA World Cup is one of the most significant sporting events in the year, with an estimated global audience of 3 billion people watching on TV. In order to ensure a fair and competitive event, Fifa releases data on player transfers, disciplinary records and other stats that fans of all levels can use to improve their knowledge. This article discusses a few tools available on Fifa's website for this purpose. The first part of the article provides an overview of the data sets available on Fifa's website, and gives a brief explanation of the contents of each set. In the second part all links to relevant data sets are provided. There are two main sources of data on transfers: FIFA Transfer Matching System (FutMS) and Player Transfer Market (PTMS). The FutMS is a fully automated system which matches players to a team based on transfer bids submitted by teams and other bids made by the player himself. The PTMS describes the transactions that have been made in this manner, including listing contracts signed by clubs. Some information from both sources is further subdivided into categories pertaining to salary caps, roles, performance bonuses and nationality restrictions. The disciplinary datasheet provides information on national team and club bans, red and yellow cards. In addition, this dataset also includes information on each of the 13 exceptions to these bans, given by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on a case-by-case basis. In this section FIFA provides a full list of all major football transfers since 2002 up until 2014's winter transfer window. Purchases, sales and loans are all included in the dataset. The data table is updated monthly with a delay of around 30 days from the end of a transfer window, so it does not include any more recent transfers. Every record has three fields: "Team", "From" and "To" teams. In this area you can find a list of all the players who have been capped by at least one national team. The data is sourced from Fifa's player search tool, which provides a list of key information about each player – including their club, country and league they play in – along with their national team number. The table includes only players with at least 10 international caps. In this section FIFA provides a full list of all major football transfers since 2002 up until 2014's winter transfer window.
